Fort Stockton has announced that the rumor is true, Wal-Mart begins construction of their new Supercenter next month in Fort Stockton.  This is a huge improvement for not only Fort Stockton but also Alpine.  This will help our new residents adjust easier when moving from the big city.  See article below.
